Starting April 2018, the new Medicare cards will be hitting the mail. This provides a perfect opportunity to complete a service call to your clients. Service calls are a great way to show clients you care and a great time to work on referrals. On this call, educate your clients to be watching for their new card to come in the mail and make sure Social Security has their correct address on file. If they need to make updates to their address:
- Visiting online my Social Security account.
- Calling Social Security at 1-800-772-1213. TTY users can call 1-800-325-0778.
- Contacting the local Social Security office.
