Exciting news for Insurance Agents! WoodmenLife has made applying for Medicare Supplement insurance faster, easier, and more convenient.
Going forward, when you fill out a Med Supp application, you are no longer required to list the applicant’s medication and medical data. The underwriting department will run a pharmaceutical and medical data report for medically underwritten applications when they are received.
There may be situations when the underwriter will need to call the applicant and complete a health interview based on the information received. Please be sure to notify your applicant that there is a possibility they might receive a call that could include going over medications and medical information.
This update will make the application process more streamlined and efficient, while still ensuring thorough underwriting.
