We have received numerous complaints of calls from someone claiming to be from “Eldercare”. We have no connection with these calls. The individuals receiving these calls do not appear to be Eldercare customers.
If you are receiving these calls, we are sorry that you are experiencing this illegal harassment. While we are still working to identify the source of these calls, we suggest you report the activity to law enforcement. You may also be able to sign up for a robocall-blocking service with your carrier or use other robocall-blocking technology to filter the calls.
Eldercare Insurance Services and its affiliates and its agents use the telephone as an important means to communicate with our customers and prospective customers. We are vigilant with respect to TCPA compliance and compliance with similar state laws. We are only interested in communicating with consumers who specifically invite such communications and have no interest in communicating with consumers who have not requested such a call.
Accordingly, it is our policy to:
Not make a telephone solicitation call to the telephone number of any person who has registered their number on the federal Do-Not-Call (“DNC”) list, or a state DNC registry if applicable, unless that person has provided their prior express consent for us to call them;
Maintain an internal DNC list; and
Maintain a process for consumers to request that we add their telephone number to our DNC list.
Consumers may submit a request to us by email at privacy@eldercarebroker.com to place their full 10-digit telephone number (and name if provided) on our internal DNC list.
Any request for a telephone number to be placed on our internal DNC list will be processed within a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed 30 days (or any shorter period required by applicable law).
Any telephone number placed on our DNC list will remain on that list for at least 5 years, as required by law, unless it is withdrawn by the consumer via a separate request. If you are a consumer who has provided us with your DNC telephone number, but it has subsequently changed, to remain on our DNC list, you must submit another request to us to add your new telephone number to our internal DNC list.
The inclusion of your telephone number on the internal DNC list restricts telemarketing calls only. Subject to applicable law, we may still contact you for non-solicitation purposes including to serve you as a customer.
Our employees involved in our telemarketing operations receive training on how to use our internal DNC list. This includes how to document, process and honor requests to be placed on our internal DNC list, as well as what is required for proper identification during telemarketing calls.
Independent agents are not our employees and are solely responsible for their own compliance with federal and state “Do Not Call” laws.
We reserve the right to revise this Do Not Call Policy.
